Compiled by Agnes Murphy, "The American Everyday Cookbook" originally came out as both paperback and hardcover. All editions have yellowing pages and have not aged well. That said, the contents are so worthwhile, you'll want to add this one to your collection in any event.
Er, and regarding the scan to your left... the color isn't quite "right" -- it's actually a bit darker. Anyway, this one (click HERE) is the correct color but blurry. Have I mentioned lately that cameras aren't my friend?!
