janice142.com Description: From The Musicians Library collection was published at the turn of the century (this one in 1906) in Boston by Oliver Ditson Company. This one, entitled "Thirty Piano Compositions Felix Mendelssohn" edited by Percy Goetschius with a preface by Daniel Gregory Mason is sure to please the serious musical student/professional keyboard artist. Opposite you will see the Frontpiece of the book. To view the cover, please click here. As you can see, it's got some nudges and shelfwear too. This is one of the better made books in that it is sewn-together, versus the more cheaply made glued-up versions of today. Yes, it's a bit squishy, as are many items 100 years old....
