This hand-painted seashell is entitled "On the Horizon" |
You are purchasing one hand-painted seashell created by me,
Janice Marois. I used oil paints carefully applied over
several days (okay -- a week or two usually) so that you'll
get a good depth of color and thorough drying of the layers.
She's signed near the horizon to the right of the sailboat.
Additionally, I'll include the base/stand I created for
displaying this gem. Specifically, the silver Mercury dime is
not included. Also, you might note the toothpick above my userid... that's my own invention -- a single-strand
of sable paintbrush tiny enough to make the most delicate of
lines.
